I Love pumpkin pie but it is a little fattening. I am oing to try this Pumpkin Smoothie. I drink 2 protein drinks a day because I had gastric bypass surgery. One thing that we do to help the integrity of the flesh of the pumpkin is to grow it ourselves or purchase them from a local organic farmer so that we know exactly how it is processed. They are a staple in my home.
